Consensus Health is looking for a Board Certified Primary Care Physician who will join their team in the desirable community of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. The Physician will work with other healthcare providers and support staff in a multi-specialty, group practice. Job Description: •Responsibilities include providing patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based setting, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, and making sound medical assessments and treatment plans. •Outpatient setting •36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours (working schedule TBD by practice to include some on call and rotating Saturday shifts): Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery •Treatment of acute illnesses •Treatment of acute injuries •Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene •Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary •Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. •A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected •Provides direction to both clinical and reception support staff •Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy (above 80% with goal of 95%) of E/M coding - and closing/sign off after review of all patient charts in accordance with company policies? Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for productivity/PCN (percent net collection) bonuses •Approximately 20-25 patients per day •Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy of HCC coding.
